So would it have been better to have a white competent president than a black thicko? Not that I'm accusing Obama of being dumb, that would probably get me struck by lightning. But is affirmative action such a wonderful concept that some people would entrust one of the most high profile offices in the world to someone who is mostly just qualified to be black?

Bertie may not know it, but he has his man now. In 6 months time all manufacturing industry will be nationalised, the electoral process will be "temporarily" dispensed with due to "national crisis", and black-shirted be-turbanned shock troops will be goose-stepping up and down Broadway. The 5 year plan will be in place, and everyone will be obliged to go weekly to the cinema to see the latet films about how succesfully John bin Deere's tractor factory is upping the output of ploughshares. |
