'Hobble', by closing Gitmo? Great idea. The Obamessiah is off to a cracking start. Hobble, as in not allowing for interrogation techniques to be used on hardened terrorists to obtain intelligence on immediate threats. He wants pc interogations, that will get no intelligence, he's going to get scores of innocent people and our troops killed for the sake of political correctness. |

And just like I said, it's the Democrats (that stupid bint Pelosi in particular) that are already fighting against Obama. He wants to leave Bush's tax cuts alone and not retract them due to the economy. Pelosi thinks rasing taxes in a recession is a good idea.
Obama will be pissing off the liberals more than the conservatives.

Which are proven to be ineffective?
Not seeing any issues with this. I also think you'll find the definition of intelligence gathering, is a little more complex than 'water boarding suspects'.

Not really torture, just making it quite unpleasant to withhold information and refuse to answer questions. You'd like them to have tea and cake in a nice cushy chair no doubt. Ineffective? No that's completely false, it was very effective and got very good intelligence, and allowed us to STOP TERRORIST ATTACKS. Obama is Jimmy Carter with a tan, he's just another wishy washy liberal, one day in office and he's already undermining the security of this country. |
