I've never understood the attraction of 'Chat Shows'. I can hear a more intelligent and witty conversation at my local pub - and I can join in instead of shouting at the TV screen.
'Wossy' should've been drowned at birth !

WHY The BBC pay him an obscene amount of money, and some of it is/was mine. He is about as funny as an arse full of piles. Ok?

Bertrus is "On the air"!? " Not quite. (At least, I hope not). Jonathan Ross is an over paid chat show host on the BBC. Hopefully the US doesn't know anything about him. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_RossHe is very much an inside man. Many members of his family are also in broadcasting. Sadly the BBC is very much like that. An old boys network which looks after its own.

please moderate your own language. We want people to come and join us and 'no swearing' is pretty basic for a place.
I've already been refused a link to this site because of the language

That's a shame, foxy. Maybe we do need the full filter back on again.

heh puff it is on I think ... but there are always ways around it. Thing is that if people are put off coming in because of the bad language then there will never be 'fresh meat' for people to tackle!

That's true, and we all need that. Apart from which the English language is full of very expressive language that won't fall foul of either the censor or sensibilities.

It is a shame that Ross is back, full of heartfelt apology etc.
Luckily, he has been largely unaffected by the credit crunch despite not having received his full £6million per annum for the last few months.
Enjoy the show.....

Yeah, it doesn't seem right that Ross is back. I have missed his radio show while building things at the weekend, but I cetainly wouldn't miss his TV show. He did a very wrong and stupid thing and should have been sacked forthwith. I don't give a toss how many people heard it - that argument is entirely without merit. It is a bloody shame that Brand has been put off air because he was genuinely hilarious on the radio as was Matt Morgan. It seems doubly unfair that Russell Brand should have paid a greater price when it was Jonathan Ross who made the comment and a series of amoral tools at the BBC who knowingly allowed it to be broacast.
