Just make it so I don't have to keep refreshing the page every single time and i'll be happy.
I'll read a thread, then once done click on 'News General' for the index of threads again and it won't have updated.
I'll refresh it, it will update. I'll see that some more posts have been made on the thread I was reading, i'll click on the thread again and be taken back to where I was on that thread ages ago.
So I then have to refresh it again to get the latest posts.
Too much refreshing, too many clicks, too much attention.

Ooh one thing, this personal message malarky, well it says at the top where it groovily welcomes me with Hey VikingHumpingWitch! that I have no messages, but I have got one, only I can only see that I've got one for a fleeting nano-second when I click between threads. Not that I'm likely to miss any earth shattering stuff if I don't notice I've got one, but you did ask for suggestions and I'm incapable of staying quiet if someone is daft enough to ask me to speak up.

Now I just feel like a pariah...
But for example, before I clicked on this thread initially it was showing 7 posts. I opened it, posted my message, read the latest posts and went back to News general.
It was showing 7 posts.
Refresh and it was showing 21.

I get the lack-of-refresh when I press the back button.
I think Ian's part of the establishment's behaviour to make life easier for foreigners and harder for us true Brits what still live in our native land.
