Does this mean that we must not call each other Brit's anymore and what happens if a 'Paki' or 'Raghead' uses this term against us.
Why don't these people get a life.

What a load of exaggerated nonsense. Taffy, Jock or Paki, no difference. It's everyday banter. In the army, I was referred to as a 'sweatie'. I saw that as intended, gentle mickey taking. Some Indian restuarants adverise themselves as Indo-Pak. Is that derogatory?

Seems to me the News of the World is scraping the bottom of the barrel for "news" it is utterly ridiculous to condemn Prince Harry for behaving like a normal soldier. I think it is time legislation about name calling was repealed.
White British people get called enough names, limey, carrot cruncher and hillbillies (country people), honkey, white trash, to name a few. Do we care? I very much doubt it.
Leave Prince Harry alone gutter press. He does a good job in difficult circumstances. Every move is watched and scrutinised, what an awful position to be in.

Crisis in the Middle East, world recession, credit crunch and company's going to the wall in droves.
So what makes the headlines? A News Of The World sh*t-sheet expose on a 'racial slur'.
FFS, I lost count of the times I heard porridge wog, sheep shagger and bog trotter used whilst I was in the Army. It's part and parcel of Forces service, especially amongst what are known as 'teeth arms'.
Mischief making in the extreme.

When I was in everyone had a nickname of some sort. At the end of my time there were a growing number of gentlemen from the Commonwealth being called up and names often reflected their colour or ethnicity, but never meant in any derogatory fashion. But we did also have a name for the News of the World- it was called the Brothel Weekly.

It seems we're all in agreement. This is a non story that should never have been published.
These rags .. including the News of the World .. stoop so low to find a news story they'd probably video their own backsides if they thought it would sell their papers.
Well, the answer is in your hands ....... don't buy 'em.

Caught this story on the radio. There was some outraged fella from the Ramadan Foundation working himself up into a good head of righteous indignation as a prelude to demanding something in the way of appeasement. Gimme, gimme, fcuking gimme.

Yep, they come pouring out of the wood work in a stream of indignation.
What I found far more worrying was the fag that Harry had hanging out of mouth as he talked to his pals. Hope he doesn't end up like his Auntie Margaret!

I really shouldn't read these boards while eating breakfast, I laugh and spill too much.

Cathy, By the sounds of that, he's taking after his uncle Edward.

Seems only the R*gheads , P*kis and their pissant sympathizers had a problem with it.

Dunno about this. I don't think "P*ki" is ever likely to be seen as an affectionate slur and what is most worrying is the complete lack of either common sense, discretion or intelligence (or, I suspect, all three) for a high profile royal such as William to even use the term, let alone allow himself to be videoed doing it.

At least as worrying as far as I am concerned is the apparent inability to learn from mistakes. His Grandfather's grandson.

Storm in a teaccup, nothing to see here, move along now. I see the Pakistani bloke's dad is now saying that an apology is not good enough. Hmmmm. I wonder what will be good enough.
