Yeah, Cheyenne. thingy one across the head and the rest speed-dial the police who then drag you away on charges of child abuse, assault, etc.
Adults are not allowed to discipline children anymore. It's abusive. It's preventing them from expressing themselves. It's against their human rights. And all the other tripe.

You change things back to the way they were before. See if you can find a political party willing to do this. Or start one. And the damp patches will destroy you.

They say things go full circle! I hope that's true and we go back to proper punishments for crimes of this nature. Too much soft soaping! I guess this brings back the debate for capital punishment, and life meaning life etc. I also think a prison sentence should stand - meaning if you get 30 years, you darn well serve it. No time out for good behaviour, no appeal etc.

That's the rub, mids. Just what can Joe Public do faced with the raft of restrictions entrenched in the law and the army of jobsworths there to enforce them?

These kids shouldnt be imprisoned. The Jamie Bulger kids i think deserve their chance. Prison should only be for dangerous criminals. Criminals you want to keep away from people. They do no good to anyone going in.

Why do the James Bulger kids deserve their chance radge?!
After little James was abducted from his mother by the two boys, both aged 10, what he endured is beyond belief ~
Quote from the case ~ The boys took Bulger on a 2½ mile (4 km) circuitous walk. They led him to a canal, where he sustained injuries to his head and face, after apparently being dropped to the ground. Later, a witness reported seeing Bulger being kicked in the ribs by one of the boys, to prod him along.
During the walk, the boys were seen by 38 people (as reported on the ITV programme). Some reported there was bruising on Bulger's face, while others reported that he was laughing, the boys seemingly alternating between hurting and distracting him. Two people challenged the older boys, but they claimed that James was a younger brother or that he was lost and they were taking him to the local police station. Eventually they led Bulger to a railway line near the disused Walton & Anfield railway station on Walton Lane.
Facts established at trial show that, at this location, one of the boys threw blue modelling paint on Bulger's face. They kicked him and hit him with bricks, stones and a 22 lb (10 kg) iron bar. They then placed batteries in his mouth. James suffered skull fractures as a result of the iron bar striking his head; this wound is believed to have caused his death. Extreme violence was used on the little boy; his mother, at her own request, has never been made aware of the full extent of the injuries he suffered.
Before they left him, the boys laid Bulger across the railway tracks and weighted his head down with rubble, in hopes that a train would hit him and make his death appear an accident. Two days later, on 14 February, Bulger's severed body was discovered; a forensic pathologist testified that he had died before he was indeed run over by a train."
The two boys who committed this murder were released after only 8 years. Thompson and Venables are not free -they will remain on life licence for the rest of their lives and are liable to be recalled to custody at anytime if there is any evidence that they present a risk to the public. The life licences include conditions which prohibit Thompson and Venables, whether directly or indirectly, from contacting or attempting to contact the family of James Bulger or each other. They will also be prohibited from entering the Metropolitan County of Merseyside without the prior written consent of their supervising officers.

Cause the simple rule of life that i think should stand no matter what is everyone deserves a second chance. Simple and as straight forward as that.

Give me the little bastards and i will make sure they never harm another animal or person again!!
they say if a child can harm and animal, it means they are more able to commit things liek murder when they reach adulthood. so when they are caught lets hang the bastards and save innocent lives in the future!! Once think i cannot abide is animal (or person) cruelty!!!!!!

I think the majority of people would disagree with you there radge as there was a public uproar when the boys were granted anonymity and released back into the community after such a short time. I appreciate we are all different and entitled to our opinions and whilst i disagree with you, i respect your views.

The public upraor never happened. The media tried to big it up, and people got shirty but no did much about it. The length of time those boys had was not much in relation to the crime, however had they stayed incarcerated then they would be graduating the big boys jail, and we all know big boys jail does very little good for anyone. So release them and give them the second chance, before its too late and they cant turn their lives around. You never know, and you may never know (because of their new identities) they might feel compelled to do something brilliant for others, with their lives!? They might help hundreds of people during their lives. Thats worth a shot. Everyone deserves a second chance. Most people banged up are not 1st time offenders, and if you are a first time offender, you should be given the chance to right your wrongs. Always.

The little shits should have their fingers burnt to let them know what it feels like.
Apparently i had a fascination with a fireplace grill when I was a kid, My Mum watched me go to touch it a few times and freaked, when i continued to try to do it she decided on litting me learn the hard way. I never went near it again.
As usual with the Daily Mail there's the added HYSTERIA that follows most of it's stories. If these puppies were 'slowly roasted' they wouldn't be here today would they?, certainly not with fur remaining! Still burn the little bastards fingers though.

If they were planning on eating the pups, then it's no different to cooking lamb or beef. No problem. If they were just doing it for fun, they should be taught not to waste food that they were cooking, and there's probably a council food inspector on the way round now. Idiot. Perhaps an attempt, misguided, at humour. More likely, idiot
