It's an absuloutely lovely day here in Suffolk. The sun's shining, no snow or ice to be seen anywhere, and off out to take a wander around the shops in the grerat metropolis that is Ipswich.

Horrible bushfires down here in Australia, 14 confirmed dead, 40 others unaccounted for.
Meanwhile much of northern Australia is flooded, in Queensland, torrential rain in the town of Ingham 3 feet of rainfall in recent days.
Mother Nature going off with devestating results.

WE didn't get snow here Today is sunny and crisp. There was a frost last night but it had gone by mid morning.
The weather certainly is going haywire worldwide.

That was scary though driving from Inverness to Kingussie average 25 mph. Took bloody ages!!! Couldnt see the road though. Too snowy. I havent seen it that snowy since i was about 10!!!

yeah Crispy I didnt mean to sound flippant when I mentioned the Victorian bushfires. In less than a few hours they turned into the worst fires in Victorian History . Some of these fires though were not due to lightning strikes. NSW having a horror time too . Absolute disasters .

As for us in Israel, this has been so far the DRIEST winter for as long as I can recall. Only a very few rainy days. The Kinneret (Israel's only fresh water lake) is 5 (!!!!) meters below its optimal hight. This is the fifth conscutive dry winters and by far the worst. I suppose that in Biblical time: "There is a famine in the land"

It's under my name in the sidebar. Fylde coast, NW England. The Fylde coast is the coastal region between Southport and Fleetwood. I'm just about in the middle, close to Lytham St Annes.

You're moving North SS - or the bad weather is ?
(You'd be welcome - the snow isn't) !
I'm on the Cumbrian coast and we've had no snow at all this year. A few flurries but it didn't settle. In fact the last 3 months have been mostly sunny and dry. Cold, frosty nights - but sunny during the day.
(Don't tell the tourists - they'll just spoil the place)
