Move the noxious Arab riffraff back to the countries they came from including the scum who enjoy blowing themselves up in school buses and crowded cafes , and the problem will be solved.

If Palestinians moved back to the homes which their families were expelled from to make way for Jewish immigrants, there would be an Arab majority in Israel.

Put the Israelites in Gaza for a bit, to give them a sense of perspective.

Just as a reminder: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_exodus_from_Arab_lands"The Jewish exodus from Arab lands refers to the 20th century expulsion or mass departure of Jews, primarily of Sephardi and Mizrahi background, from Arab and Islamic countries. The migration started in the late 19th century, but accelerated after the 1948 Arab-Israeli War." "The World Organization of Jews from Arab Countries (WOJAC) estimates that Jewish property in Arab countries would be valued today at more than $300 billion[5][6] and Jewish-owned real-estate left behind in Arab lands at 100,000 square kilometers (four times the size of the State of Israel)."

Just as a reminder: That's right. Palestinians were ethnically cleansed to make way for Jewish immigrants.

Just as a reminder: That's right. Palestinians were ethnically cleansed to make way for Jewish immigrants. Correction: "Palestinians" were advised to leave by their brother Arabs until a Juden frei area had been created, at which time the exiles could return.

... or mass departure ... [/i] That bit needs emphasis.[/quote] Perhaps this Guardian article is a little easier for some to understand: www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2008/jun/25/middleeast.middleeastthemedia" The exodus began 60 years ago when Arab states, hell-bent on crushing the new state of Israel militarily, also turned on their peaceful Jewish communities. Street violence killed over 150 Jews. Within 10 years, more than half the Jews had fled or been expelled, following discriminatory legislation , extortion, arrests, internment and executions. Those who remained became subjugated, political hostages of the Arab-Israeli conflict.Today 99.5% - all but 4,500 - have gone. As the historian Nathan Weinstock has observed, not even the Jews of 1939 Germany had been so thoroughly "ethnically cleansed"."As Israel has an Arab population numbering close to 2 million, with equal rights to education, health provision and housing, and with representatives in the Israeli parliament, perhaps Israel should have taken lessons from the Arab states in ethnic cleansing.

Correction: So, you contend that 750,000 Palestinian Arabs left their homes as a result of 'advice'. There's no logical or factual basis for claiming that 'advice' rather than the fear of being massacred by Jewish terrorists was the motive. In any case, the Palestinian right of return is not affected by the claim (even if it were not preposterous) that the fear of death and destruction from the Zionist forces was unfounded.

As Israel has an Arab population numbering close to 2 million No, it hasn't. However, there is only one state on the territory of former British Palestine. The Palestinian Arab population is 5.3 million, compared with a Jewish population of 5.6 million. Despite decades of Jewish immigration and the 'departure' of Palestinian Arabs to other countries the two groups are about equally balanced in numbers. An Israel/Palestine state wouldn't be a Jewish state if it were democratic. A sovereign, independent Palestinian state has been denied a right to exist by Israel. The only prospect is continued conflict until the region is engulfed in a wider war.

I doubt you could have called it 'British Palestine' it was mandated to Britain to govern - by the Paris Peace Conference to look after the territory - only because Britain invaded it (truly the latter day crusaders) and defeated the Ottoman empire. It wasn't as if P.P.C. would have invited the Albanians in and told the Brtis to go home.
Nope Britain got lumbered with the Holy Land (the hand of god lurks thereabouts maybe picking the chosen to look after his chosen land) and for better or worse she did what she could (including the blood of her young soldiers) considering the circumstances.

Tut, tut. You've forgotten Jordan again, Bertie, which constituted 80% of British mandated Palestine, and which was given by the British to fhe Hashemites from Arabia as a reward for their help in beating the Ottomans.
