A sovereign, independent Palestinian state has been denied a right to exist by Israel. - Bertrus.
Check your UNREVISED history book Berty. The Arabs refused the SECOND (after Jordan) Arab Palestine state in 1947 when they rejected UN Resolution #181 - Partition.

And here's a map of British mandated Palestine, which clearly shows the 80% known as Transjordan (The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan) which for some reason you continually forget about when libelling Israel. news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/spl/hi/middle_east/03/v3_israel_palestinians/maps/html/british_control.stm

here's a reminder of Resolution #181 This must be about the only UN General Assembly Resolution relating to Palestine that Israel has ever approved of. Of course, it was a proposal and one which was not accepted by either party, nor ratified by a vote in the Security Council. All Israel's criminal actions in the colonisation of Palestine have been condemned time and time again by the General Assembly and the Security Council. Just a small selection from Security Council resolutions. Does it sound familiar? It's from 1979, but Israel is still carrying on the same illegal actions. Resolution 446 (1979): 'determines' that Israeli settlements are a 'serious obstruction' to peace and calls on Israel to abide by the Fourth Geneva Convention". "Resolution 450: " ... 'calls' on Israel to stop attacking Lebanon". Resolution 452: " ... 'calls' on Israel to cease building settlements in occupied territories". Resolution 465: " ... 'deplores' Israel's settlements and asks all member states not to assist Israel's settlements program". Resolution 467: " ... 'strongly deplores' Israel's military intervention in Lebanon". Resolution 468: " ... 'calls' on Israel to rescind illegal expulsions of two Palestinian mayors and a judge and to facilitate their return". Resolution 469: " ... 'strongly deplores' Israel's failure to observe the council's order not to deport Palestinians". Resolution 471: " ... 'expresses deep concern' at Israel's failure to abide by the Fourth Geneva Convention". Resolution 476: " ... 'reiterates' that Israel's claim to Jerusalem are 'null and void'". " Wikipedia

Lol Berty - nice try but a bit daft as most people realise that a Resolution is a Resolution and a Proposal is a Proposal. A Proposal gets voted on and a Resolution is the result of that vote!

a Resolution is a Resolution and a Proposal is a Proposal. The General Assembly of the UN voted, without asking the agreement of the majority Arab population for its opinion, and the UN Security Council refused to endorse the decision of the General Assembly. A Jewish terrorist group murdered the UN negotiator, Count Bernadotte, and the proposal for an Arab state, a Jewish state and an independent Jerusalem was not accepted by any of the parties.

Transjordan (The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan) which for some reason you continually forget about Your one-sidedness is hilarious. Obviously, on democratic principles, it was wrong to amputate Cisjordan (present-day Israel/Palestine) fromTransordan. Arabs, Christian and Muslim, being the overwhelming majority, it was unfair and stupid to allow a small Jewish minority to have special privileges. The British should never have amputated the territory between the Jordan River and the sea from the Arab kingdom.

This link leads to a BBC report on Gaza. It has 3 very chilling videos giving a insight into what happened. The first is an Israeli type who insists that the murders of the children of Dr Izzeldeen Abuelaish were caused by Hamas hiding in their house. No evidence of their presence has been found. The second is from the girls bedroom where they all died. The thrid is a Hamas spokesman saying the orders were not to fire from civilian areas. news.bbc.co.uk/panorama/hi/front_page/newsid_7878000/7878752.stm
