Seems Israel is more and more becoming a fundamentalist state. Too bad , This insistence on expansion of settlements in palestinian territories is going to be the ruin of them yet. Damn nutters.

It's mind-boggling that the Israelis have voted for c.75 seats - a clear majority - of intransigent nutjob parties (Kadima, Likud, mad ex-bouncer man's proto fascists). Thankfully, they're so confident in power they'll all squabble between themselves over who gets to have it, instead of uniting into one bloc, so the amount of damage they can cause is limited, though that's a relative term, of course.
