I think we all must've had those dancers on tarrant's avatar at some point in MSN Groups. I remember it well on a dance thread in many groups! Haven't seen it for years! I wonder where tarrant was hiding it . . . . ?!  |

It was on the list of avatars provided by pro boards.
I went through several, but each time I chose one, someone else chose it.
I wanted an avatar that would make it easier to find the last post I made in a thread so I could read the posts from that point.
Still, interesting that the rule which applied on MSN relating to harassing members doesn't apply here.
We can look forward to a flood of threads being started by some of our more immature members who, lacking the intelligence and character to argue their point, resort to such personal attacks on others.
And all endorsed by at least two moderators.

Libby is not a Mod on this News section btw, so it's just me you have to tick off. I love that avator, and was delighted to see it being used.

It no problem for me to be honest.
I detest censorship though of course, it is necessary for spam and some other obvious matters.
Personally I take the position that this is a discussion board where people use argument and references to make their points.
In any situation like this there will be a few who, lacking the wit to present good argument and the maturity to admit, it resort to name calling and such.
Rather like children in a playground.
I generally take this sort of thing as de facto admission of defeat and accept it with as much graciousness as my sense of humour will allow.
