Come on, let him in. And keep him there, please. If you'll take Kilroy-Silk. At least Wilders isn't a Brummie.

Finger pointing in the wrong direction there chum. I have repeatedly said that I do not think Freedom of Speech overrides my freedom not to have listen to this sh*t.

Well this proves the man is a nutter. He knows he's going to be stopped at border control and sent back. Only an extremist would go through the grief, hassle and trauma of their ears popping on landing and the hours of passport control at Heathrow just to make a point.

Using the Koran to commit terrible acts? It's a slim volume. True, it can be in hefty diamond-encrusted covers, but it's a slight thing, in itself, not likely to raise a bump on the noggin. In the House of Lords today, the peer who invited Mr Wilders to Britain mounted a staunch defence of the right-wing Dutch politician’s right to show a controversial film about Islam. ...“Surely the violence and the disturbance that may arise from showing this film in this country is not caused by the film which attempts to show merely how the violent Islamist uses the Koran to perpetrate his terrible acts. www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/politics/article5717091.ece

And he's being held and questioned (presumably the question is "Why the flocking hell did you bother when we told you not to come? By the way I hope your ears take 3 days to go back to normal."). news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/politics/7885918.stm

Why is the great British public being offered the views of pontificating 'peers' on this (or any) subject? One of them is a government minister. This is an anti-democratic defect in the system that should be put an end to. In the House of Lords today, the peer who invited Mr Wilders to Britain mounted a staunch defence of the right-wing Dutch politician’s right to show a controversial film about Islam. He asked Home Office minister Lord West of Spithead: “Do you think this situation would occur if Mr Wilders had said ban the Bible. If it would not have occurred, why would it not have occurred?” www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/politics/article5718039.ece?token=null&offset=12&page=2

I knew I had seen that smug, smarmy attitude elsewhere: turns out young Geert's a full-blooded, hard-wired apologist for the excesses of the Israeli racist state. Can't think why, but I see that his Dad escaped from Germany under the other Nazis.
Views on Israel In the past twenty five years Geert Wilders has visited Israel on numerous occasions[19], where he says he has met Ariel Sharon and Ehud Olmert personally. [19]
At one point, Wilders wanted to move to the State of Israel because he believed one could, as opposed to the Netherlands, 'work for your own money'.[19] Wilders worked in bread factories and a moshav.[20] With the money he earned, he traveled through Israel and some nearby countries. In 2003, Wilders stated: "The past years I have visited many interesting countries, from Tunisia to Turkey and from Cyprus to Iran, but nowhere I have that special feeling of solidarity that I always get if I set foot on the Israeli Ben Gurion Airport."[19]
Wilders has, in the eight years he has served in the Dutch Parliament, largely supported Israel and has criticised countries he perceives as enemies of Israel.[19] Furthermore, Wilders has made some proposals in the Dutch Parliament inspired by Israel. For example, in 2005 Wilders proposed implementing Israel's administrative detention in the Netherlands, a practice heavily criticized by human rights group Amnesty International.

Lord West of SpitheadReally? OK, come on then. If you were to be offered a Lordship, where in these islands would you not want to be associated with because of it's name? I'll go for Scunthorpe because there are just too many website filters which would rename you Lord whatever of S****horpe.
