Haven't been following this tinpot election too closely, but it looks like- The party winning most seats promises peace for Israelis and quite a bit of indiscriminate killing of Arabs. The party in second promises peace for Israelis and loads of indiscriminate killing of Arabs. The party coming third promises peace for Israelis and as much indiscriminate killing of Arabs as possible. Are Israelis generally stupid? Or do they just enjoy klling Arabs? I suppose it's possible that domestic issues were more of a consideration than Arab killing, but the fact that the proper racist nutters came third with so many votes suggests otherwise. I suppose the question is, do those who think Palestinians deserved Gaza for voting for Hamas also accept that Israelis deserve terrorist attacks for voting for parties like this?

Of course, this is a meaningles election because now the sainted one is in the Whitehouse the Israelis can promise as much death and destruction on Gaza as they want and they'll not be given the money to buy replacement stocks.

I expect the IDF will be showing a lot less restraint in dealing with their arab cousins in the weeks and months to come.

I expect very soon to see hundreds of thousands of US troops in Gaza and the West Bank shooting any Israeli settler who says anything nasty to any Arab, and disembowelling any Arab who says anything nasty about Israel.

This Lieberman fella has a wonderful contingency plan for 'peace' in the region, Blowing up Egypt's Aswan Dam, If need be.
Bloody Lunatic. He's the last person the Israeli's, or anyone else in the region needs at the helm.
