- - - - of mass protest. The reason this Dutch MP has been banned from the UK AFTER BEING INVITED, is glaringly obvious. Any threat now, or in the future, of a ten thousand mob of muslims, must be met with twenty thousand police. This is another example of creeping surrender to islamist threats. In the near future, we will have cause to regret this attitude. We may wake up too late. www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-1141806/

" Wilders was due to show his 17-minute film Fitna, which criticises the Qur'an as a "fascist book", at the House of Lords today. But on Tuesday he received a letter from the Home Office refusing him entry because his opinions "threaten community harmony and therefore public safety" www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/feb/12/far-right-dutch-mp-ban-islamWhat a pathetic load of meally mouthed garbage. When I was born, the United Kingdom was the bastion of free speech. We enjoyed it and guaranteed same for others. We are now being governed by weak willed traitors and charlattans. How long before referring to "my country" will mean arrest. Nazism started out as a small band of ignored fanatics. In SIX YEARS they were ready to attempt to conquer the world. In 1933, some intellectuals in Britain, poured another gin and had a good laugh. They very soon would choke on that laughter. The lesson is very simple. Do not laugh and ignore militant islam. You will have cause for bitter regret.

We could probably do with Maggie back for a bit. I doubt that Cameron has the round ones to stand up to pressure from unions, muslim demonstrators on the streets or the French in a mardy EU negotiation.

Banning Wilders is now fait accompli but his views on the Quoran are correct. I am sick and tired of people defending the preaching of violence it contains. Mosques preach worlwide jihad. We shrug our shoulders and say and do nothing. We are destined to shed many tears in the near future. Awake!

I'd be more impressed if I wasn't almost certain that a short movie depicting the brutal treatment of assorted Arabs by a bunch of hebes written and produced by Annie Lennox wouldn't be compulsory viewing.
Having said that, the Dutch fella was probably banned because the Israeli embassy didn't really fancy another muslim army with a distant police escort shouting outside the front door this weekend.

So Jonren, I'm confused. You support free speech and think that this Dutch lad should be allowed to come and speak her on the grounds of free speech. But you don't like the fact that the mosques are preaching hate. Does free speech apply only to non-Muslims, only to the Dutch, or only to things you agree with?
Rick, what's your sudden beef with Annie Lennox?

There seems to be an assumption on the far left that the Cloggie bloke and various M*zzie preachers are exactly equally hate-speech-filled and therefore if you allow one you must allow the other or if you ban one you must ban the other. Is it true that there is this exact equivalence on the hate scale?

Annie Lennox is actually a muslim extremist in disguise. He was brought up in a cave on the Pakistani border and trained by Osama Bin Laden himself to infiltrate and influence western show business to support the liberation of Palestine and the destruction of Israel. He is just one of many sleeper and deep-cover agents sent into the west to undermine society and pave the way for the eventual coming of the caliphate. Everyone knows it.

One wonders how a letter from the secretary of state to Mr Wilders came into the public domain, and one would be interested to know the full text, not just the parts presented by certain interested parties.

Bollox Rick. I've been on a bus with Annie Lennox and it didn't blow up. Nuff said.
I think a hate scale would be quite a useful tool.

I think any scale would soon become out-dated as our capacity to hate is matched only by our capacity to post drivel on the interweb.
So if we had a 1-10 scale, we'd pretty soon find that some people, like Spinal Tap, needed to go up to 11.

I found it rather insightful that when this film was shown, there was not one protest.
Yet the reason for banning entry into the UK for the films' director was because of the supposed security risk from community tension.
Really it was just the government running sh*t scared of offending a group of people who have a habit of turning to violence whenever they feel offended.
Except this time they didn't.
Shirley not another case of hand-wringing whitey pre-empting any offence felt on behalf of the ethnics...
