Once again the government shows its cowardice and craven surrender to a minority group in the UK who threatend mass violence if someone dares expresses a view that confirms their own views about the rights of their religion to cause death and destruction to anyone who offends them.

Pathetic reaction from a pathetic government. I have seen the film. It was not very exciting all it shows is lots of Muslims telling us all how we should converst and die, along with the results of Muslim terrorism. Along side it shows extracts from the Koran which justify the pictures shown.

So two things:

1. The images are true, they are come from news footage.
2. The extracts from the Koran are true.

So why are the Muslims so upset when faced with the truth?

Oh! I forgot - they are scared of people who say what they believe to be true and will infact threaten death and destruction to any and all and thus provide a great propaganda victory to Wilders.

I suspect that most people who would use it to justify their threats of violence (proving Wilder correct) have not seen it. I also suspect that the cowards in government who surrendered to the threat of Muslim violence have also not seen it.

Actually, I haven't a clue what happened between Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart. That would require me to take far more interest in celebrity culture than I am capable of feeling.

But Annie Lennox seems to be a bit typical of stupid show business types who crop up with some deep philosphical or political belief from time to time. It's just that she's the only one I can recall at the moment. Apart from Alexei Sayle. And I think Cliff Richard got all christian at people for a while but Blair couldn't extend the royalty period for his music so he got mardy and dropped out. And Vanessa Redgrave had to be pulled off stage at the Oscars by Charlton Heston and a team of Sherpas when she got all anti-Israel.
