Wilders should be invited back and given freedom of speach. He wasnt calling for death to anyone or race. To deny him for fear of offending is mental and gives a bad image of the UK to the world. We appear appeasing and weak. We will regret being in fear of exposing the koran and its links to terrorism. Wilders came yerterday to showed us our weaknesses. Sigh... - he was banned because of the threat of violence and unrest. To stop a civil disturbance. Define 'shortly' I dont think anyone is arguing about the content of the film jon, watching it is not going to change people's opinions about why this guy was banned. The movie could be about Mickey Mouse.. that is irrelevant... It is the threat of violence and civil unrest it would cause that brought about that ban. In the same way that some marches from certain right wing parties have been banned, re-routed or restricted over the years.... the threat of civil unrest.. |

Well in fairness, the al-Qaradawi bloke was banned for his views on gayness being a disease, as far as I know. He wasn't actually saying that gays should be killed. Google it you lazy pregnant dog. He was debating on the correct manner to execute them. Throw them off a tall place as God did in Sodom or just apply the usual punishment for fornicators. These are the subjects that preoccupy this 'moderate' (according to Ken Livingstone and... 'moderate' muslims). |

We often on here refer to MILITANT muslims and PEACEFUL muslims. may we assume that peaceful muslims will deny the Quoran ans relevant surahs? I very much doubt that.

Jonren, that passage doesn't prove anything on its own. Christianity 'warns' of the same. The difference is that muslims themselves are supposed to be the agents of non-muslims 'hell' punishment and degradation on earth.

VHW. I agree we dont need em, but because we want a "free" society we have to accept them unless we want our freedoms curtailed by someone who has no connection to our lives. It sucks but its more beneficial for everyone

Don't let us start comparing christianity with islam, again. I say here and now that most of the bible is fairy tale and the old testament is nonsense in the extreme. Now find me a muslim who will deny the quoran in like fashion without being sentenced to death. Thousands of people brought up in 'christian' households deny god. How many muslims deny allah? The two 'religions' cannot be equated and any who disagree that is lying. Simple as that.
