When I ran a small company in the 70's, due to the then resession I had to wind up the business and my overdraft was called in with my home as security. Altthough there was no wrong doing by me: just a victim of trade union bloody mindedness and Labour Govt. incompetence but the loan was called in, no messing, and i had the skids under me. I managed to survive but that is another story and all creditors were paid. With this lot, they cannot blame anybody but themselves; they made all the decisions that have cost clients millions, they pocket huge bonuses for doing so and come back or more of the same . One for rich crooks another for their honest clients. The time for Brown/Darling to clip the bosses' greedy wings was at the time of making the loans, not asking afterwards. All this seems to be with Govnt. approval-it does just crosses my mind that when Brown & Co are ditched at the next election, they can have easier entry to a cushy consultancy a la mode - that crooked Speaker is still there stuffing his and his wife's pockets. Is there noone with the balls to deal with these matters-probably not as the Opposition are waiting for the opportunity to get their own snouts in the trough.?

I'm not entirely sure what point Cayfi is trying to make.
If the govt hadn't "given millions" to save us from the banks, then small businesses would be even more fcuked than they are.

The point that caffi is making, although I doubt either he or you know it, is that the system is fecking rediculous , so fecking rediculous that it can not work unless your willing and able to abuse it for your own need. To operate in it fairly ( lmao ) and as moraly intended is an impossibilty

My only point here is that in trying to run a business from scratch (honestly)I waa shafted by bad govt.policies and ruthless banks. Here now the same incompetent bastards carry stuffing their pockets on with expenses, heavenly pensions with no redress -all pais for by US again.
