No idea what your Brit MP's walk away with but here in Australia our former PM Howard walked away with a annual tax free pension of $255,000p.a. cpi indexed for life as well as a permanent 'driver' and valet, plus free air travel.
A front bench minister can expect to walk away with a tax free $125,000p.a. pension with all the trappings mentioned above, our previous health minister was the most recent recipient of this after only serving for 13 months of a 4 years term.
While a back bench minister walks away with a pension of $43,437p.a. also tax free with free domestic air travel for life.
