The charges relating to AA are pretty weak, but the claim that he initiated unprotected sex with SW while she was asleep, aware that she would have insisted on protection, are far more serious. That's rape under English law, so extradition would probably be justified.

Sexual Offenses Act, 2003:

(1)A person (A) commits an offence [of rape] if—

(a) he intentionally penetrates the vagina, anus or mouth of another person (B) with his penis,
(b) B does not consent to the penetration, and
(c) A does not reasonably believe that B consents.

Assange might have just about been safe if the only question was the fact she was asleep when he started to have sex with her. He could argue she'd consented to sex the night before, so it was reasonable for him to think she wouldn't mind doing it again. But if he was aware she didn't wouldn't want sex without a condom, then that defense flies out the window.

I think the argument is that she wouldn't have consented to unprotected sex, which he knew, so here it may, possible be seen as rape. I am not so sure though.
