We had the last snows melt away yesterday, and now have loads of pristine snowdrops opening up. Poor little things have been frozen in time, and are very late this year.

It can't be Springtime yet - I haven't seen any of the traditional signs in the sand dunes .......
* The remains of the first disposable BBQ. * A pile of empty Lager cans. * Discarded nappies. etc.

I was on the golf course with my cousin the other day and as we walked past some snowdrops he told me (he's a gardener) that they've become really expensive, to the point where people will go digging up wild ones. Is this correct? I'm not casting aspersions on my cousin, I just didn't realise snowdrops were so rare, allegedly.
