More to the point, who will decide who the war criminals are, and decide by what criteria they are to be judged, where, when and by whom?
Could you ever get an international panel to agree? I doubt it very much.
Everyone has their own ideas but agreement would be a long time coming.
I just wish both sides would stop now and make it possible for help to get to those who are suffering because of the conflict.

"Current UNCHR members include:
Saudi Arabia Nigeria Malaysia Russian Federation China
Human rights my arse."
That means they're on the Council voting for these resolutions. That's right - China, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Nigeria and the Russian Federation.
Can someone tell me how many of these states - ON THE UN COUNCIL FOR HUMAN RIGHTS - have the death penalty and how many have freedom of speech?

The answer to the former is 'all of them', the answer to the latter is 'None of them'

Pray Israel has the fortitude to carry this through to conclusion and rids the world of that sub-human scum that is Hamas.

Waldo #28: ".... Avi and has not been contested by anyone yet is that Israel is willing to kill children, women and non fighters.
Waldo is such a bleeding lier. There are ordinary liers who simply say things that are not true. Waldo is TWISTING facts which is much worse.
Israel IS NOT WILLING to kill. Not even the terrorists. We kill the enemy that is out to kill us. We do the outmost to save harmless the innocents but will not allow them to protect the death machine that is opperating against us.
I am addressing the forum. As I said above, I have nothing more to say to the above poster !!!!

It's crystal clear where the greatest haul of war criminals is to be found.
Israel has killed around a thousand men, women and children in its onslaught against Paesltine.

However, no liability for any of those deaths can be linked to Israel so they are of no consequence.
That's about right, isn't it Bertrus?

That's about right, isn't it Bertrus? The International Criminal Court is active and has a number of ongoing cases. There are arrests warrants out in relation to crimes in Darfur. Criminals who may think they have immunity from prosecution, including those in Israel, should not feel totally secure.
