Right! If he's too busy to talk (bet he's got some naff excuse, like he's at work and his boss isn't paying him to spend all his time on a messageboard, or something equally unfeasible) .... let's talk about him behind his back! So, One, do you reckon our Pos is a boxer shorts man, or a y-fronts man? Or possibly even a tanga brief man?

Wilky! Yeah - I think the way I described it on my first posting on Monday, after coming back from being ill, was that you swallow normally, thinking everything is ok .... only to find a huge lumpy grollie sliding down the back of your throat.
Basically, mine started with a v. sore throat (my throat was actually ulcerated - yuk!), then felt like my skin was on fire, although I had goosebumps.... you know you've got a nasty cold when it actually hurts to touch your own skin, if you know what I mean!!! You poor love! Get to bed! f**k the netball team (not literally, of course) and go and get Nurofen Cold n Flu (I promise I don't work for Nurofen or anything, I just think they're great!) ..... __________________________________

Now, Lassie and Hobo have lined up many of the targets for the military, it is up to their decision now, when they want to attack, they have said that it is likely that there will be further air attacks! There was a disco for the under-18s called 'Busby's Disco' and they seemed to play nothing but Yazz & The Plastic Population's 'The Only Way Is Up'..... I snogged a guy with a tash there too! Very, very, very exciting stuff, I'm sure you'll agree. How is everyone today then? Glad to hear Wilky's feeling better - funnily enough, I was on the cider last week when I was ill! (God, I sound like a right slapper here don't I? I'm gettin' a reputation for openly showing my vertical bacon sandwich, inviting Pos to lick my cream horn, kissing boys at too young an age.... and now I'm confessing to a touch of alcoholism last week too!!! ........ Message 2072 od 12488 in Discussion From: Mitch The Teddy Sent: 10/11/2001 12:29 PM Sparkle Fingers crossed over here for the interview And at the risk of sounding cheesey (but its the least I can after your soothing words during my contraction of the plague) you don't sound that bad at all. I love you guys! I think (hope!) the interview went stonkingly well actually - they've already asked me back for a 2nd one, so I'm really pleased about that. Been in this job 3 years now, and I'm SOOOO bored! (which is why I spend all day here, instead of working!!!!), so it'd be nice to have a bit of a change. Wilky - cheers darlin', if you're ever in London and haven't got a cider-drinking mate to meet for a pint, then just shout! ;D Gooner - Lassie was right at the front of my mind during the interview, which I'm sure is why they asked me back for a 2nd, so I definitely owe that girl a pint or two aswell! Pos? Or is it only me whose life is so empty that there is nothing else to think about in life. Maybe I should quit the Sobriety Society. Perhaps we should wear little ribbons out of fur with a Lassie paw print in the middle of it so we can approach one another in safety. We could have a secret code greeting like 'The Tail Wags Tonight' or erm ....'Ive come for my Paw' (sorry, feeble) What does everyone think? I used to be in the netball team when I was at school, but our lot certainly didn't look like sexy gym-slip-wearing girls, because we had these GIGANTIC blue nylon knickers that we had to wear as part of the uniform under our gym gear, so whenever we jumped up and the skirts flew up, all you got an eyeful off was acres and acres of blue nylon pant-age!!! (am I turnin' ya on here guys?!!!!) _________________________________ Message 2085 of 12488 in Discussion From: Jaygo Sent: 10/11/2001 1:11 PM You're right Sparklehorse, it would seem that most are situated in or around the Northants region. I too am a Leighton be Buggered resident (though I try to keep quiet about it) which makes me noivous - is Gooner Ad 21 actually my neighbour.........? Woooo that would be scary. Perhaps a reunion Netball match in Milton Keynes would be just the jobby - once a year bash. Once this gets out the whole nation will be behind the cause and we can sell the badges as merchandise. Mornin' Went home yesterday owing to utter boredom here at the fun palace (not including thread which is dead exciting and fun) but I just couldn't be bothered. Thanks for missing me One of Many (ironing, what is this, must look up in dictionary ...... have you never heard of Lycra!!!!) I sadly will be spending this weekend revising for my exam next Thursday - (Im hoping for a promotion to senior officer rank and this will be a test of my SAS knowledge, lots of Lassie books to swot up on) However I am sure I can intersperse the revision with lashings of alcohol - hasn't stopped me yet. What news from the front this morning? Hope Wilky is careful, there is supposedly terrorism planned for this weekend - I hear Engelbert Humpedink is promoting his new album in Butlins Minehead - truly terrifying.

Theyre great actually I can't get the first one up but the second one is funny - it is now doing the rounds via email. Yes I suppose One of Many that he is a bit of a monkey - quite right. I think the tell tale sign of whether Wilky has been infiltrated will be if he is wearing a spangled jacket and lots of make up/fake sunbed tan when he returns from his mission. We will have to quiz him on this.

Question suggestions for the interrogation of Wilky:- 1. Were asked onto the stage by Englebert H? 2. Were you asked onto the stage by a hypnotist? 3. Did you do any karaoke renditions of Englebert songs? 4. Did ANYONE mention Hobo or Lassie?
errrrrrr
uuuummmmm brain's gone dead - arrrgggghhh - and that was just because I'd THOUGHT of Englebert songs - OH NO - Wilky stands no chance !!!!

Hopefully Wilky will be using a special mind numbing technique which I frequently use (every weekend) ...... it is called "getting shitfaced" and involves a complicated process of drinking as much alochol as you possibly can before its time to go to bed! It works a treat!

All we need to do is to sing in unison "I had my last waltz with you ......." and gauge the reaction - if it is met with <blank stare> then we know that the mind numbing techniques have actually taken effect and he has been saved. If he starts miming the words " ......... two lonely people together" we know we're in trouble. Why oh why did I go home yesterday? I could have averted this potential disaster by arming him with a James Bond hip flask full of Laughingbrew and saved all this worry. How am I going to (dog) bone up on my Lassie annuals this weekend now? I will not be able to concentrate.

HI guys- just popped by to say hello. Afghan George- (being berated in that silly hamster thread) is STILL waiting for his undercover equipment. He told me not to talk to Poseidon until it arrives- but think you might have forgotten him. He's distraught at not being able to assist in the liberation of his homeland. PLEASE HELP

From here on in, I decree that no information shall be passed to the agent known as "Afghan George" on account of suspicion of him being a traitor to the Littlest Hobo and Lassie cause. This matter is closed.

But what about his owner Yorksman? shall he be punished, or shall we vote him simply "Ignorant" and take no further action other than a stern warning (?). You have to decide upon his fate as well now Poss .........

I fear that yorksman doesn't have much interest in this thread anymore ....... HOWEVER, if yorksman wants to carry on being involved with this thread (which we hope he/she (cant remember) does) then yorksman is very welcome on the condition that no information is to be passed to Afghan George!

Message 2237 of 12488 in Discussion From: Gooner! Sent: 10/12/2001 3:27 PM Actually, i'll decide, as my first action of being self proclaimed 2nd in command here. Yorksman: U are forgiven. But think yourself lucky!! U are harbouring a terrorist and we all know what Mr. Bush says about that!!! But as you are a dedicated member of the Lassie confederation, i shall repeat our masters words: "The case is closed". ________________________________ (1 recommendation so far) Message 2238 of 12488 in Discussion From: Poseidon Sent: 10/12/2001 3:31 PM "Actually I'll decide" ?? Hi y'all, I spent half an hour reading what I'd missed, not quite at the 3k yet then Poseidon, but maybe next week. I did see that you think there are only 9 or 10 regulars on this thread. There must be more, I think loads must check it out but don't post. Come on readers of this thread make a posting and help Poseidon make the 3k. ________________________________ (1 recommendation so far) Message 2241 of 12488 in Discussion From: Poseidon Sent: 10/12/2001 3:37 PM Call me old fashioned (don't!!) but surely it would be my position to appoint a 2nd in command? ________________________________ (1 recommendation so far) Message 2242 of 12488 in Discussion From: Poseidon Sent: 10/12/2001 3:38 PM Thanks again for your support Murdock .... good to have you back ________________________________ (1 recommendation so far) Message 2243 of 12488 in Discussion From: murdock Sent: 10/12/2001 3:39 PM Watsamatta don't you like admitting to spelling errors? So they have played a major part in the whole war but have obviously retreated a bit to allow the bombers to execute their strikes ...... then when the strike stops, Lassie and Hobo's team move in to locate the next targets .... and so it goes on at the moment! ________________________________ (2 recommendations so far) Message 2247 of 12488 in Discussion From: yorks44 Sent: 10/12/2001 3:47 PM whispers: Look out Pos. sounds like you're about to be toppled. ________________________________ (2 recommendations so far) Message 2248 of 12488 in Discussion From: Gooner! I appreciate what yuo are saying and I also appreciate yuor support for the cause! However, being diplomatic, would you consider it fair for me to appoint yuo second in command over anyone else? i.e Wilky for instance who is also a very loyal supporter. My point is ...... 2nd in command doesn't really offer any more priveledges than being equal! __________________________________
