Perhaps someone should tell David Blunkett.

"A Durham University team questioned 200 students about their caffeine intake,....... no details were recorded of other substances consumed that might have had hallucinogenic effects". He never thought to ask how much 'acid' they'd taken the night before ?

People who drank more than seven cups of instant coffee a day were three times more likely to hallucinate than those who took just one, a study found.
Who drinks instant coffee?

Who drinks 7 cups of coffee a day? I love the stuff, and am addicted, and get a stinking headache if I don't drink coffee in the morning.
But I'd never drink 7 cups a day.
Even of decent coffee, let alone of foul instant.
Frankly, you're probably already insane and delusional before you start if you're drinking 7 cups of instant a day, so I doubt it's a very good test.

I have never understood instant coffee, it takes 2 minutes to make a pot of coffee, do you prefer instant? Nope but I don't have a filter coffee maker. Mainly because I am the only real coffee drinker in my house so the jug of filter goes to waste. Plus I never really have time in the morning. At work we have one of those swanky filter coffee makers so I only have the filter coffee then.

Mrs Minge and I like to neck a few energy drinks at the weekend to counter the effect of all the ganja we smoke. If it gives hallucinations...all the better. Would make the weekly shop even more of an adventure

You can call me that over your shoulder if it makes you feel any better but no...
Is anyone else having to refresh pages all the time just to see the latest, even after clicking on News General after reading a thread or after clicking on a thread? It's getting on my tits and likely to attract attention

As a smoker I'd drink more than 7 cups of instant coffee no problems. I've since given up the smokes but I'm still addicted to the instant Nescafe - worse than heroin man.
