Ah Cancun .......
We stayed at the El Dorado Resort a couple of years ago. Hidden Beach is glorious.
(Great scuba diving too)

i dig scuba. But ive only done my advanced in Dahab. Luckily i enjoyed the fish rather than the fire works.

I'm like a cat Grizz and not a big fan of water. I did feed a shark in an aquarium though. Have a feeling I was ripped off...
One of the people I was out there with went out on a wreck dive however and loved it.

If your friend is an avid diver, send him to Cozumel for the day. Most dives are about a mile off shore and relatively deep. If he only has time for one dive, try the Columbia Deep.....he won't forget it.
