I don't think they can. I believe all of their behaviour is learn't. Some, no doubt, innate. But I do not believe they possess reasoning skills? Tell me I'm wrong and I wanna believe you truly!

Mind you! A Lama once laughed in my face! I said to her, 'Gosh you are soooo ugly!' and she got close, looked at me intensly with this pathetic unamused smile. And 'humphed' all over my face! My partner was well amused! ;-)

"Can animals think logically?"
As opposed to illogically? What a daft question.
"I believe all of their behaviour is learn't. Some, no doubt, innate. But I do not believe they possess reasoning skills?"
lmao
I'm wondering if you're confusing logical reasoning (which even a computer can do within set parameters) with abstract thought.
But, the OP is such a mish-mash of terms it's difficult to tell.
