Went to Tesco yesterday, heaving, and half the shelves were empty! Had a problem grabbing any veggies at all!

LOL Ahem! Or Amen. We were so busy in our restaurant tonight, but a couple came in and said that it isn't traditional to eat meat on Good Friday! Well I never knew that. They ordered Fish and I had just eaten three rare Lamb chops.

Good because Jesus died for our sins on that day giving us forgiveness and a path to God. So, a bit painful for him but salvation for us :-)
Also a linguistic thing. The word 'goodbye' stems from 'God be with you', so God and good are conflated, ie 'God's Friday'.

I shop online. It mean I only get stuff I need rather than impulse shopping and the nice people deliver for me

I tried that shop online thing a couple of times. But I got cheesed off to find that a week's shopping had most 'fresh' things with expiry dates tomorrow. At least when I shop I can be the annoying git that gets right to the back/bottom of the shelf for the freshest stuff. Be glad when my veggie garden gets producing stuff - dig it, wash it, cook it - - now that's fresh!

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!I missed Woolworths, i was stumped where to go for Easter Eggs this year. Ended up with really crummy ones from Tescos! Did anyone else have the same problem. Couldn't find a white chocolate egg anywhere not even in Thorntons. Very frustrating! Bring back Woollies!

Thanx for that Crypt. Lol Yord, you nutcase!
Well in the end Libby, Sushimo and Fastkitty, I was too busy to shop. Have been so busy working didn't have time to eat at home, until today, when our restaurant was closed. I was so tired to go buy food, so we decided to eat out tonight. Went into Nottingham and choose a Cantonese/Japonese place. All you can eat for £10.95
Bad idea. Yukkkkk
