we have loads of interweb sites blocked, because we're a college and have a lot of kids in the place, we have to ban all the dodgy sites, and all the social netowrking sites, most of the discussion forums are banned, all gaming sites, the 'news of the world' is banned for containing 'nudity and entertainment'
It's not helpful for the social work groups who have to try and get information on child abuse, because all the relevant sites are blocked

I've got a great s p o o n which is teas p o o n sized but with a really long handle, ideal for getting jam out of the bottom of the jar. Never seen one like it in the UK, do they exist there?

Ah. Best s p o o n I ever saw was in a cafe in Helsingborg, just round the corner from the old fort, anyway it has the nicest cutlery I have ever seen. Lovely and ornate, it'd be nicked in any other country. They had both long and short handled teas p o o n s.

My mum (to carry on the family obsession) has a strip of wood with a line of nails hammered in it. Off these nails hang 16 copper s p o o n s. They're old s p o o n s used for measuring dye, and each one has a colour and a weight engraved on the handle. They all have quite long handles, and the s p o o n bowl bit at the bottom is all different sizes. They're on display in her living room. They're pretty cool and i've not done them justice describing them here.
