Well.. technically (not that I watch these things except on youtube!!) it was two years ago that the rather rotund Paul Potts won. Last year was a schoolkid who danced that won it. I saw the clip of the woman with the brilliant voice. She was rather amazing. Most teling was the looks on the faces of the audience - the 'bright young things' were sneering and snickering when she came on.. then they had the sneers wiped of their faces. I think the wardrobe and make-up people deliberately made no effort to make her look groomed, as it made more impact to see her looking frumpy. You wait - once she's been given a wardrobe make-over with a flattering outfit, had her hair cut and tinted and styled, and had her eyebrows plucked (!!) and a decent make-up facial done, then she'll look like a different person altogether and probably ten years youngrer than her actual age. Not that I take much notice of these shows of course....  |

hello to you all, i was amazed by her voice, and the faces of amanda holden and simon cowell just goes to show that you should never judge a book by it,s cover.i think a makeover will give her the boost her life needs at this moment .[not to much though] a bit of spit and polish never did anyone any harm.
