Chit Chat is so last century. This board is called News General which would cover both would it not? Why was the woman who hadn't gone anywhere for 20 years not Chit Chat. I got the idea from that thread. I have loads of phobias my family is chockablock full of them.

NewsGeneral is for news and Chit Chat is for chatting.
This isn't about news ... and it's not current affairs.
Phobias are an interesting topic but it isn't in the news just now so it belongs here where people who are interested can chat about it or offer ideas which may help anyone who is phobic.
By the way, the thread about the woman who hadn't left the house for 20 years was a news story ... and a link was also given.

Anacondas don't need to be angry as the size of their open mouths is enough to cause the heeby jeebies. Did anyone move that 20 year thing from News yet?
