I hate crispy bases. It has to be a little soggy. But then I don't like pizza toppings anyway. Cook the pizza, then peel of the toppings an enjoy. toast basically? have you considered a transfer to the salt mines?

Well yes, but I think if I don a headscarf and claim it was an action against Israeli warcrimes I may get away with it.
Right, I feel I've had enough shame heaped on me over what is clearly a manufacturing fault from Aramata's Non-Stick (but will catch fire if you try to bake it!) baking paper. I'm going out to buy a sandwich.

anchovies, olives, capers, garlic, tomato, olive oil, pepper, salt, oregano, by the way.
Or mozarella, olives, pepperoni, onion, garlic, tomato, oregano.

It's not bread it's pizza. You get the flavour of the toppings without the texture of the toppingas on your tongue.
Sometimes I can eat a bit of the topping, but mainly I sling it.

Unless of course it's a pepperami one or a veggie disappointment for the mungbean possie

I think VHW has done us all a favour. We all now know that baking paper is not suitable for use in the oven, who knows how many disasters this new found knowledge could avert.

Sardines in chilli oil are nice. Along with the anchovies, capers, etc... Sounds odd, but really, they're good.
We used to make them on big round lebanese bread so they were ultra-crispy. Yum.

Anchovies belong on pizza and are sorely underrated. No fish that tastes of fish belongs on pizza, though.

Onions have no place on a pizza or, indeed, anywhere on God's Earth. They're clearly the work of Satan.

'Too Many Connections There are currently too many connections to this server. Please check back again in 30 seconds.'
I keep getting that message when I try to post, first time I brave posting on here in yonks, and it breaks!!
I ordered a pizza once and they accidentally put anchovies on it, it was horrid. I do like fish, well, some fish, just not on pizza, but then I don't like salami, pastrami and all that sort of stuff either.
Well, better get back to the tedious task of job hunting... trust me to be looking at a time like this, female, 50 and been self employed for 20 odd years looking after children, strangely, I am not having much luck at the moment!

It's worse being a bloke who stayed home to raise kids, Devon. At least as a woman you're expected to have been out of the workplace for some time of your adult life, as a bloke employers just think you're a waster...
(I suppose in my case that isn't so far from the truth, but that's by the by).

One of the few pizza toppings I can stomach is smoked salmon.
Hmmm...
Good luck Kubik and Devon. My step-dad is currently looking and the job market is pretty harsh.

I wonder if any of our contributors have any interesting frozen pizza related incidents to tell us about? I thought they were supposed to be deep-fried. With the optional chips on top. (or at least, that's what I witnessed in Scotland).

One of the few pizza toppings I can stomach is smoked salmon. With what else? This is just wrong. Put smoked salmon anywhere near an oven and it will gain the consistency of plastic.
