The number 97 double decker bus crashed into the front of the fast food restaurant in a busy shopping street in Walthamstow, east London. Three people were injured and were described as "walking wounded" by police. The bus driver was also taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be serious. The lack of other casualties was put down to the fact that the accident took place at around 6am, when the McDonald's was closed and there were few passengers on the bus. Bah. The AMericans get a plane crashing into the Hudson, a miracle landing and some ice cool heroism on by the pilot. In Britain,t he best they can manage is a bus ploughing into MacDonalds. Crap. Think big, Britain!
