Seems to getting quite common. Is this the third air show crash this season?

I'm not sure but they're not exactly uncommon, are they?

Fate really is a f**k*r. You're driving home from a day out in Brighton on the A27 with your wife n kids and you get hit by a Fcuking airplane!! How unlucky is that?
My heart goes out to those poor fcukers. not joking - it really does.

That Daimler 420 in the pics looks like it's a hire car for weddings, etc... Doesn't bear thinking about.
The Hawker Hunter is quite powerful and maneuverable but it's - what - 60yo and really shouldn't be doing low-level stunts. Got a friend who pilots vintage stuff (Phantom, Lightning) but he wouldn't fly that low for a display. It - obviously - doesn't give you the time to crash away from crowds/traffic, in the event of a system failure.

Horrible, to die on your wedding day hit by a plane, hope the car was on the way to pick up rather than being full.

Was it a wedding car voice?
Where did it say that?
ok, it was hired out for weddings, but it was on the way to collect the bride, ie, it was empty

It said on the news the car was hired out for a wedding, but no mention at that time if it was before or after the ceromony

You'd assume that the Mail would have gone into maximum overdrive if the wedding party had actually been in it. "Gorgeous Bride (pictured in cheeky bikini selfie, flashing 'sideboob') TOASTED on Wedding Day In Horror Airshow Crash."
Whereas if it is just some old fat bloke driving a car to the ceremony ...

It doesn't seem right to me either reading the details.
However, the jury have listened to the entire case and took their time in returning with a verdict

It's odd that he was judged to have been flying too low and slow to do the manoeuvre yet was still found not guilty.

But he flies planes ol' chap, a good type, one of us. If it had been a transit van he'd be in clink.

TBH, that sounds about right. "Decent cap, nothing to be gained etc.... " but, as WKC says, they heard the whole speil.
That being said, the bloke has a history of risky behaviour and rule-breaking. If he browned-out because he was obliged to yank the stick back that hard, then perhaps he should have followed the f**k**g rules about altitude when entering a loop. There can't be a excuse for that, surely?
It'll be interesting to see what the professional flyers' forums have to say. PPrune usually has some wisdom.

How did the pilot even survive that? I didn't see him eject.
