How on earth can you know what May is planning to do given she was Remain. She probably doesn't know yet. IT'S BEEN TWO WEEKS!!!! You want a candidate who was pro-Remain to tell you what her exit negotiation strategy is 2 weeks post a referendum where nobody expected an Exit win? Yeah, basically. Because if they are going to be PM we should have a rough idea what they are going to do. Because otherwise the choice is meaningless. What if it turns out that Liam Fox actually had the sanest and best idea? Is that really such and insanely unreasonable idea to suggest we know what the f**k a potential PM might be thinking of doing in about the monstrous f**k up they will have to confront, pretty much immediately on taking office?

I too have searched and asked for months what the Brexit 'vision' is. Beyond a whole raft of lies from the promulgators of this farce I've heard nothing beyond the xenophobic and the 'we want our country back' response; not one offering which indicates things might actually improve after leaving the EU. All the objections to so-called 'EU control' have been based on misguided assumption, irrational fear and a lack of consideration for the benefits. Even the few suggestions above are intenable: any suggestions as to how the UK's going to implement tighter border control or remove Greece and Italy from the EU? As for a reduction in legislation and control, it's this legislation and control which stops us being poisoned by the less than scrupulous importers which are constantly trying to introduce poor produce which simultaneously undermines our own markets.

We had a referendum in 1975, but the 'Out' crowd didn't stop f**k**g moaning, did they? We've got 40 years of moaning credit. The days of f*cking moaning leftie herbivores are over mein freund. Carnivores are being unfettered. It's time to feed on the fat bloated casrcasses. I'm off to file my teeth.

Most people are displaying a more herbivorous temprament. The market research firm GfK conducted a one-off online survey of 2,000 people after the result was known.
Its confidence index fell by eight points to minus nine, a drop not since seen December 1994.
Less confident consumers tend to curb their spending, which accounts for about two-thirds of the UK economy.
It is also one measure watched by the Bank of England when deciding its next move on interest rates. Governor Mark Carney has already warned the UK's economic outlook is "challenging" following the decision to leave the EU.
The Gfk survey also suggested that 60% of consumers expect the general economic situation to worsen over the next year, compared with 46% in June. Just 20% expect it to improve, down from 27% last month. People will not be buying your fancy gay biscuits for quite some time.

No, it's the duty of the people who voted in to shut up f*cking moaning. F*ck off. You f*cking lost now shut the f*ck up for f*ck's sake. F*ck off. The F8cking lot of you. If you can't say something positive don't f*cking speak. I'm off to kick a pole. Just by the by why does my cleaner turn up in a Merc and I've got a sh*tty renault? We had a referendum in 1975, but the 'Out' crowd didn't stop f**k**g moaning, did they? We've got 40 years of moaning credit. They didn't moan. They objected when the thing they voted for changed into something different.

Now you're being silly. The choice is over who they think will be the best leader of the party. You aren't voting for her. To expect her to draft up a strategy, toute seule in 2 weeks is, well... And it won't be immediately. She had already said that article 50 will not be triggered before the end of the year potentially next year. Which makes sense.

If they can't give us a general indication of what the Brexit game-plan is, then surely the contest is being held too quickly?
It is not a trivial matter, as it is going to define the remainder of this term at the very least.

The game plan starts with pouring 20 million tons of concrete into the Channel Tunnel, negotiate that it would still be possible for a future British Pope, the Queen will still have access to family members in other EU countries, all ports in the UK will be allowed to have WW2 German style gun towers, and fruit & veg will no longer be picked by adults, child labour will to be put in place.

If you expect her to draw up plans immediately it's you who views it as a trivial matter. I don't think they want to hold off on year end till they select a PM...

The days of f*cking moaning leftie herbivores are over mein freund. Oh no they aren't. You'll have years of moaning and carping until a decision is made and Brexit happens. And then decades more of moaning if your ilk manage to f**k up the exit. With the amount of moaning that's coming your way Britain will sound like the taxiway at Heathrow for a century thanks to this silly decision.

How odd. It linked through from someone's facebook fine, and now I can't see it either. And I'm not paying a subscription to the FT.

It was basically pointing out that the Brexiters are already blaming everyone else to make sure they don't take any responsibility for what might happen. It's the fault of the left for talking down the country; it's the fault of the media for pointing out the weakness of the economy. It's the fault of the markets for acting on that weakness. It's the fault of the current government for not planning for making any plans for the stuff the Brexiters didn't plan for. It's the fault of Cameron for quitting even though the Brexiters claimed they'd have no confidence in him if he quit. And so on and so forth.

its not our fault, we voted against this stupidity.
i know your lot wants us the keep quiet on the facts, but you can feck right off, if there is any hope to save the UK the facts need to be shouted loud and long.

It's definitely not our fault.
And unlike those who wanted Brexit, we're in a position to whine given that we haven't got what we want and the Brexiters have.
