Screen size

Is there an easy (as in so-easy-I've-completely-missed-it) way to make the 'live' part of the screen bigger? At the moment the interesting bit, where the actuall posts are, inhabits a cerntral column in my screen, surrounded by a band of virginal white space on either side.

Can I colonise that space, so the posts are actually readable, or are they reserved for advertising for massage parlours, herbal viagra and body enhancements?

It can be altered by admin, but there are other items that can be added into the spaces each side of the boards. Maybe that is the intention, and the space is left to see what needs doing yet.

It's all new to us lala, these boards have an amazing array of things you can do, it's a case of sorting out what is wanted and best to suit the majority (you will never please them all!).

I'm not expecting instant gratification (though if anyone is willing ...), just raising a flag for the powers that be. I'm aware this is all very much in the set up stages, and I'm gloating in the fact I'll be able to brag, ever more, that I was one of the first here.

I'm not sure what happens to people who have small monitors. My main aim is to make this as easy to use as possible on as many size screens as possble.

How wide should it be do you reckon?

My son, who did the design, may have had to constrain the width for some reason. I think it's probably something to do with the borders. Maybe they can be made stretchable.

They can be any size you want Foxy, but set only by admin. I set mine to 1200, I would think this is 800. Maybe if you put in a temp background it would look better?
