More interesting is that Cohen seems to be cooperating with authorities after his lawyers quit. His lawyers quit because they weren't getting paid. Apparently Cohen thought the Trump org should pay the lawyers, and Trump org had no intention of paying for Cohen's lawyers who were covering his extra-curricular activities...
How unsurprising that it doesn't come down to anything macchiavellian, but just old fashioned stiffing of people working for you...

Cohens been very much isolated and disavowed by Trump and co, they are basically painting him the coffee boy who was never really part of anything to do with Trump world.

Robert Mueller, who is investigating alleged Russian election interference, accused Mr Manafort of trying to tamper with potential witnesses before the trial. Mr Manafort was accused of contacting people related to his case in breach of his bail terms. The judge ordered him to be held in jail before his trial. The judge said Mr Manafort had "abused the trust placed in you" and treated the court proceedings as "just another marketing exercise". Mr Manafort's trial on charges of money laundering and illegal lobbying is due to begin in September. |

Manafort used a method to communicate secretly with others by creating an email account and sharing the password with others.
He'd write emails and saved them as drafts without sending, the others with the pw could then sign in and read them with no email being sent.

Trumps strip mall lawyer, Giuliani, has said perhaps it's time this whole thing was ended with a few presidential pardons.
Hard to think of a western leader who's been venal and corrupt in the post was period, Trump is making Belesconi look like a saint in comparison.
