Trump- Step 1: shits on the floor Step 2: blames the sh*t on someone else Step 3: complains he can’t clean up the sh*t without help Step 4: Finally cleans up the sh*t under political pressure Step 5: Pats himself on back for cleaning his own sh*t.
Sounds like one of my kids when I ask them to clean their room. ☝️

On the plus side, at least you can get your kids to - eventually - clean their room.
More than I can do!

Of course, Trump hasn't actually cleaned up his sh*t, as far as I can tell.
Rather than revert to the comparatively humanitarian, but still crappy, actions of the Obama administration, he's just decided to detain the kids indefinitely with their parents. Which is still pretty vile, but has also been ruled illegal under US law. So, basically, his EO is not actually a solution. He's just replacing one problem with a different one.

yeah, closing down internment camps for babies does not negate you having setting up internment camps for babies.

But he's not closing down internment camps for babies. He's now mandating that babies stay in internment camps. Under the previous system parents were stuck in internment camps while babies were sent away to holding pens elsewhere.
This EO is being described as a climbdown/cave by Trump, but in fact it's almost as evil as the previous state of affairs.

Supreme Court rules for Trump in challenge to his administration's travel ban The ruling concerned the third iteration of President Donald Trump's immigration restriction, which was challenged on the grounds that it amounted to a "Muslim ban." In the 5-4 opinion penned by Chief Justice John Roberts, the court found that Trump's immigration restriction fell "squarely" within the president's authority. "The [order] is expressly premised on legitimate purposes: preventing entry of nationals who cannot be adequately vetted and inducing other nations to improve their practices," Roberts wrote. "The text says nothing about religion." www.cnbc.com/2018/06/26/supreme-court-rules-in-trump-muslim-travel-ban-case.htmla small win, but a win

A win for the idiots, yes.
In the past 40 years, there has not been a single refugee from any of those banned countries that has carried out a fatal terrorist attack in the US.
Of course since 9/11 there have been around 10 Sikh's gunned down by the same type of knuckle-dragging idiots who figgered they were ayrabs becuz they wuz wearin a towel hat.

Anthony Kennedy retiring from Supreme Court Supreme Court Associate Justice Anthony Kennedy will step down at the end of July. The departure gives President Trump a second opportunity to fundamentally alter the nation's top court for decades. Senate Republicans plans to move quickly on appointing a successor as the two major parties fight for control of the Senate in November. www.cnbc.com/2018/06/27/anthony-kennedy-retiring-from-supreme-court.html

I would say that it's going to be terrible, but the reality is that he's been voting with the Republicans 80% of the time, anyway. He's done nothing to protect the Republic on corrupting the democracy, nor racist border policy. So, apart from Roe v Wade, there's not really a whole lot of difference this will make.

you are forgetting the Gays, and something else to worry about, Ginsburg is I think 86, and in poor health, I'm surprised she didn't retire during Obama, but then Hillary was suppose to win,

I don't think the court's going to overturn any of the gay rights protections now. Society has moved on pretty dramatically ahead of the positions of Alito and Thomas on that. Roberts won't want to overturn his own court's rulings.
