Agree completely with 3. They are such hypocritical scumbags.
As for Pence, he very likely knew everything Trump knew. Manafort was the one who recommended him for VP. Imagine if they were both ousted and the Dems took over both the Senate and the House. Then the Speaker (Pelosi) would become prez, right?. The ensuing butthurt would be off the scale.

Will all this just fuel the nut-job cospiracy theories about the mainstream being out to get Trump because he's an outsider? Of course. His base that still supports him exhibits all the characteristics of a cult. Thousands of FBI, CIA and DOJ people are all secretly conspiring against Trump, who is the only person telling the truth. Beyond his base though. It strikes me that there is so much sh*t flying about, from so many angles, that it starts to look like a vendetta. You begin to think he can't be that stupid, when in your heart of hearts you know he is.

It is actually astonishing quite how much sh*t there is. We all knew that Trump was a little dodgy in his business dealings. But we weren't expecting 80% of his cabinet to also be massively corrupt. We didn't actually think he'd break a million campaign finance laws. We didn't really know that every single one of his campaign chairmen was corrupt. We didn't know that he'd employ - to run his campaign - someone who had been point man for Putin's allies in Ukraine.
There's so much that it both becomes white noise. It would also look like a vendetta, if it weren't for the fact that the sources on all this stuff are so diverse, and the evidence so immensely strong.

Yeah, he is that stupid and corrupt. He even incriminates himself on Twitter. But to your point, it would be wise for his public detractors to stick to the real criminal stuff he's pulling instead of the (relatively) more minor things.
We've had presidents that I did not care for at all in the past, but Trump has taken it to another level. He's not just an embarrassment, he's dangerous.
Here's a politician from Texas who is running for the Senate against Ted Cruz (who, even after Trump called his wife a dog and suggested his father was in on the JFK assassination, continues to suck up to him). We need more politicians who are as thoughtful and reasoned as this guy is, talking about a divisive issue:

Thing also to remember is, best he gets defeated in the 2020 election rather than forced from office otherwise it's just Pence, and that's bad, but not just cos terrible human being, but the first thing ge does once president is do a Gerald Ford and pardon Trump and his gang. Defeated he can finnaly face justice together with the rest of his crime family.

More winning www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-45427838An unnamed senior Trump official has said members of the administration are working to frustrate parts of the president's agenda to protect the country from his "worst inclinations". In a New York Times editorial, the author said President Trump's "amorality" and "impulsiveness" had led to ill-informed and reckless decisions. Hilarious stuff, needless to say Trump has lost his mind over this demanding the author be handed over to the government.

If you read the article, the author is a complete arse. He basically supports everything that the Trump administration is doing and is happy to completely f**k over constitutional norms and to have a complete maniac in control, just as long as they get their judicial appointments and their "tax reform" (hah! reform! hahaha! tax cuts for the rich is what they mean).
There's a lot of speculation doing the rounds that it's Pence because of the use of the word "Lodestar" which Pence uses a lot. Which would be really, really hilarious. But I have my doubts - I suspect it's someone very tinpot, like Jared's make-up artist or something.

All accounts then show Trump being regarded as so stupid and dangerous that his own inner circle are keeping important decisions from him. I suppose that’s good news.
The lodestar reference almost seems too obvious to me. Could be someone implying Pence for whatever reason.
