it isn't intended to be taken serious, well if someone does take it serious they will take it, however the real purpose is to distract from Trump's meeting with Fat Boy and give the news something else to talk about, anything is better then reporting that Trump is doing something Positive, it is a sham

Yes, we wouldn't want to distract from the news that Trump is sucking up to the psychopathic ruler of the most backward country in the world. The guy he "fell in love with".

And they certainly need distracting from the fact, despite Trump fellating Kim so openly and telling the world the Norks had agreed last time to stop all nukes development, the Norks have dome nothing at all to stop or even slow their development program.

If Trump comes away and gets Kim to de-nuke and possibly open up, I'll give him credit jimbo.
I won't hold my breath waiting though.

It's been over a year since Kim has shot off a missile, I doubt that Kim is going to surrender, though I do expect another baby step, this may take years to complete, but it is still better then the other option, it is not like the bombs won't keep

Well, that didn't last long. What a skilled negotiator! U.S. negotiators are no longer demanding that North Korea agree to disclose a full accounting of its nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs as part of talks this week between President Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un, according to current and former senior U.S. officials.
The decision to drop, for now, a significant component of a potential nuclear deal suggests a reality that U.S. intelligence assessments have stressed for months is shaping talks as they progress: North Korea does not intend to fully denuclearize, which is the goal Trump set for his talks with Kim.www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/u-s-drops-demand-full-accounting-n-korea-nuclear-program-n977251He must have looked deep into Kim's eyes, everything went to a soft focus, he felt something stir down below and just couldn't bring himself to spoil the mood.

He loves despots and dictators, more than that he admires them, so won't do anything to jeopardize them. Anyway no one expected the Norks to suddenly give up their nukes, and all Trup needs to do to please his un-thinking base is to simply tell em the Norks will give em up, they apparently believe every lie he tells em. Last week they were all chanting 'finish the wall' this depute him not getting an inch built, but that's his latest slogan
"But just at that moment, as though at a signal, all the sheep burst out into a tremendous bleating of-
"Four legs good, two legs better! Four legs good, two legs better! Four legs good, two legs better!"
It went on for five minutes without stopping. And by the time the sheep had quieted down, the chance to utter any protest had passed, for the pigs had marched back into the farmhouse"

Trump just wanted a chance to vacation with Kim.
<sidles up to his hunky Nork> "You wanna know why I used to call you rocket man? The press were wrong about that, tremendously wrong!"

Well, looks like Don must have given a Kim a bit of a grinder, Fat boys told him to f-off, and being Vietnam, trump couldn't get out of there fast enough (probably a re-occurrence of those bone spurs) www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-47408696The deal maker (sic) wins again.

Though Trump has been doing his usual and defending his new best friend www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-47404629US President Donald Trump has defended North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in the case of an American college student who died after being jailed by North Korea. Speaking in Hanoi after his summit with Mr Kim broke down, Mr Trump said he did not believe the North Korean leader was aware of Otto Warmbier's ordeal. Mr Trump said: "He tells me he didn't know about it, and I will take him at his word." oh well I suppose that's alright then, the family should shut the feckup and get over it then.

Putin cyberattack: "He said he didn't do it so I believe him."
Saudis chop up reporter: "He said he didn't do it so I believe him."
Kim has college student sent home in a coma to die: "He said he didn't do it so I believe him."
The so-called "leader of the free world" is completely divorced from reality.

How weak he appears waddling around the world stage, flying to the other side of the world for an unprecedented high-level meeting, and not only does he fail to get Kim to give up his nukes, he ends up apologizing for the sick f**k*r. What an abject failure he is.

John Bolton really can't be happy. He joins the Trump administration with every expectation of finally getting his war. The rhetoric on North Korea gets ramped up and ramped up. Whoever had Trump's ear last gets Trump excited about a war, he thinks. Let's send Trump to a sit down with Kim, who's an intransigent wanker, and that's going to finally push him to his limits.
Instead, the last person in Trump's ear is Kim, so Trump comes home apologising for the little sh*t and saying that Otto Warmbier was killed completely by accident and we should just shrug it off.
Poor Johnny Bolton is going to be praying that Trump doesn't have a summit with the Iranians otherwise he'll never have a war.

Anyway looks like the great negotiator and deal maker has been winning bigly again, all his plans working out so nicely. www.bbc.com/news/business-47472282The US trade gap with the rest of the world jumped to a 10-year high of $621bn (£472.5bn) last year, dealing a blow to President Donald Trump's deficit reduction plan.

To be fair, adult economists think that trade deficits are totally fine. There’s nothing wrong with a big trade deficit. It’s only a thing at all because Trump is a moron who claimed that the trade deficit was a terrible thing that showed we were losing the Jchainnaaa.

I never said it was a problem, its just for years we listened to the GOP saying how awful it was Obama was running a deficit and Trump was very much a deficit hake and had this whole plan and policy aimed to reducing it, but has failed miserably to make any impression at all, in fact making it worse.

Different kind of deficit.
Budget deficits are potentially a problem, if they get too big and interest rates are high and they aren't creating added wealth. Trade deficits really aren't a problem at all.
Trump himself has, moronically, claimed that trade deficits are a massive problem while racking up a huge budget deficit with his moronic tax cuts for billionaires, so this pisses on Trump. But this is only a cudgel to beat Trump with, it's not actually something worth worrying about, in itself.
