Well, quite. That's always been my point re. LH who I suspect had been bearded to the max by his handlers and whose discreet life in a tax haven probably isn't just about not paying his dues.
Writing poetry is not, in itself, evidence of bumfoolery but writing dreadful doggerel about the Princess of Hearts is about as damning as it comes, short of being caught hanging out the back of Sir Elton John.

I'm not a marketing man, but I am confident that the kind of bloke who follows F1 is not the kind of bloke who is especially likely to be swayed in his purchasing choices by a gay, mixed-race, difficult, tax dodger (who, most damningly of all, doesn't drink.)

To be fair, my contempt for LH is long-standing, but I can't say I care for any of the others particularly. They all seem pretty twattish to me.

It strange with Lewis Hamilton - I certainly don't despise him and it's good to have an English man as a world champion.
But I find F1 utterly boring. Not a patch on say, Rally Driving. And the recent years of F1 have been more boring than most.
and the poem's grim and he (whisper it) Took The Knee.
