Dear Foxy,
You are a rare commodity dear.At times ,I used to read dear Foxy's some of comments on my postings in the forum which still I hold as a treasure.It was relating to Elizabethan Era.Then also Foxy continued with full zeal, elusive at times ,but may be omnipresent(quote).Who knows who is correct.
Love to see you here.I have also changed myself from ekadasia to metoobobby to hoho,but at times, I think Foxy did not change her name,but did not allow people (if the moderator lies within) to change. So selfish friend are you who did not allow people to log in as they usually do in MSN Groups?
I only changed with time in another way ,may be though MSN UK ,and its moderator changed with tiime the other way.May be I do it because I am just a Conservation Volunteer.

Hi hoho - you are right and this isnt really the place for general chatting
We have the Chit Chat board for generally chatting and gossiping. I believe I can move this thread to that board ... but I have not done that yet as I am very much a learner-moderator here

Fair comment being made here I think. I am not into gossip myself, politics and religion I find interesting. On the old news board, politics was hardly used, not the place to be seen perhaps. However on general the longest threads were started with a political, or religious comment. I found this amusing as no one ever claims to be interested in either. Any chance of redirecting at least political posts to, "Politics".  |

First time I've tried moving a thread to another board - but this one was was crying out to be moved.
We will limit moving threads around as much as possible as most of the time it's not that important

The politics board is for those members who dont always log in on a daily basis, maybe they only pop in once a month or so, and want to come back to discussions on a longer-term basis The 'news' board is so fast that discussions on there run for a day and the next day there's a whole new slew of topics We'll see how it pans out on this new format. We set it up to be as similar as possible to the old place to begin with. |
