The Hall of Fame

Can anyone cut'n'paste a favourite thread into the Hall of Fame, or is it a chore reserved for management?

If the former, is there anything special we need to know, or is it just a case of copying it over, a chunk at a time.

I would hate to see this thread (groups.msn.com/news/general.msnw?action=get_message&ID_Message=891475&ShowDelete=0&CDir=-2) disappear.

I would love you to copy over your favourite 'Hall of Fame' thread(s).

What I've been doing so far is to make the opening post the nomination bit, and the opening message and post that, with the header in large type and bold orange

Then rather than do a separate reply for each post, I copy the rest of the page and paste it into Notebook.

It needs a bit of tidying up before you can post the whole lot. But Notebook has a terrific 'find and replace' tool. So I get rid of the Reply and Recommend rubbish by using 'replace all' with nothing.

Then I add a space after the date and the posters name - and then its ok to post.

Take your time and make it look nice. That way it will get read more than an untidy thread
