Highly sinister that Parliament is now able to demand the private communications of individuals who are not suspected of a crime. It's a fishing expedition. Seriously ultras, just stop for a minute and think; is this really a precedent you want setting? The Yellowpiss thing fine. Transparency is usually a good thing.

Steusi. The Geustapo. That seem to be the sort of society they want. The knock on the door in the dead of night, jackboots on the stairs, young girls hiding in attics...

... and still a lack of cogent debate. What would you like to debate? You don't appear to have advanced an argument.

Only 293 voted with him, wonder if he will boot even more of his MPs given, what, at least, 8 or 9 Tories either abstained or voted against him

Oh, wow. I cannot believe my fcuking ears. A BBC journalist, interviewing Margaret Attwood actually asked the author for her reflections on Brexit.
BBC Radio 4. At about quarter to eight, Zulu.
Bloody hell. What the actual fcuk?

Anyway, prorogued. Better that than the dishonest shambles that Parliament now is. That means only two more weeks of the worst, most partisan, dishonest Speaker we've ever known.

I suppose he would have appeared that to anyone in a comfortable, lifetime guaranteed non-job likely to be unaffected by impending chaos. Most normal people saw him as a beacon of light in the midst of a turmoil of filth some describe as British politicians at work.

"Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel told POLITICO he “doesn't want to close the door on London”, after the House of Commons voted to force Boris Johnson to seek a delay until the end of January if he can't get a deal approved by October 19. He said: “If there’s reason for a delay I’ll accept, but I still have no reason, I still have no clue what they want." Insiders say the bizarre situation is such that the EU will be forced to grant an extension it doesn't want to a British Government which also does not want it."
Interesting.

He's got that wrong.
You can't close a door that's already closed. OK, so it's closed from the inside, but still closed nonetheless.

It's hard to imagine the EU not granting us an extension. For one, they're utterly, utterly desperate for us to stay. For another, I'm sure the remainers will have made sure they'll get the answer they wanted before acting.
