in the US most car plants use out of country parts, from Canada, Mexico, Japan, China without a problem, why wouldn't the UK be able to do likewise??

And since the free movement of these parts depends on the UK being a member of the EU, the Boris-do-or-die-Brexit will kill off the car assembly plants in the UK. No. You f**k**g idiot. You f**k**g imbecile. The free movement of these parts does not depend on our being part of the EU. Not one f**k**g bit. What's sad is that you've been told why time and time again, and yet you persist in an argument which anyone of normal intelligence would have ceded years ago. You are an odiot.

The ease of movement of those parts absolutely depends on having transparent or non-existent trade barriers. Which it seems is unlikely to happen under a Borisy No Deal Brexit. I'm sure Boris's No Deal will collapse quickly enough and a trade deal will be reached with Britain conceding all of the EU's points, so it probably won't be an issue in 2021 or 2022 when they start production...

I think ships will still float after Brexit, it will also free the plants to shop else where, there are a bunch of parts plants in USA, Canada, Mexico, Japan, China,

Bullshit. ISO regs explicitly deal with this. No externalities attached to auto components and sub assemblies. End of.

Are you sure that auto parts literally have no customs controls anywhere on the planet, that import and export of them are inherently unimpeded anywhere, that there's no cost to auto parts, that nobody needs to check containers of auto parts, that they're considered magically more important than people or food, for example?
You'd think that every shipping container of spark plugs would be packed to the rafters with cocaine and meth, or desperate Guatemalans.

Parts and sub assemblies are allowed free transit so long as they are part of finished product. Fact 4x4.

Also, you're falling into that same old trap about contraband. Contraband is contraband: it is outside regulation.

Link? Also, if Baloo isn't talking sh*t, can anyone explain why the international system thinks carburettors are more important than food?

My spelling or my knowledge of car-offal? I know almost nothing about cars, and even less about the various organs in their interiors.
