Another thing that really didn't ring true about this story is: what would a pair of white supremacists be doing hanging about outside in Chicago late at night in bitterly cold temperatures, with a noose, hoping to find a black dude (but not a really scary one with a gun), to try and scare?

Who is he, never heared of him or this attack. I know of him from Empire. And, I actually have heard of his sister from the film Eve's Bayou. Funnily I only heard of the attack via instagram which lead me to look up what was happening on the news. And now claims he made it up...I always wonder why people would do that. Surely they know they would be caught. I read somewhere a rumour he made it up because he was worried about being booted off the show. |

I had never heard of him until this story came out. But it was always a bit weird. What was a rich actor doing out in -20C in Chicago at midnight getting a sandwich from Subway. Although so far the only suggestion that it was staged has come from Chicago PD who, let's be honest, aren't always the most reliable when it comes to people of colour. Frankly, I trust and believe no part of anyone's description of this story yet. Same. The noose thing was odd too. But still, same. Will wait and see what the outcome is. |

It was never that big a story to begin with. It is beyond bizarre that he would do this. I wonder if he’s ok. From the moment it came to light people were pointing out oddities in his story. He can’t come back from this. Unless he checks I to some kind of rehab / mental health facility (I am calling it.) |
