And why Canada has a much higher rate of RTA deaths. Show your workings.

Which makes me wonder. Speed cameras are a good thing. Needing physical cops present to chase people who’re speeding is utterly wasteful. Better to send the penalty notice to the owner of the car. But that does mean that you have a degree of self-incrimination. I think it’s fine. What I want to know is if this bird’s other points on her license were legitimate or were made up by Constable Savage. Probably made up. It’s the police. When they get caught breaking the rules they are determined to harass to the ends of the earth the people who reported them (including other officers.)

I had a quick look, in 2020 (covid so lower than usual) deaths on the roads were about the same, though Canada's population is 20million less. Obviously road conditions here gets very grim in winter when deaths peak.

It’s whether Thick Mids can articulate a causal relationship between forcing people to disclose driver details and RTA.

Winter driving accounts for a sizable majority, we must have at least 30 on the highway to Whistler each year, often idiots driving on summer tires or being so knackered after a day skiing they fall asleep at the wheel. Also lots of sh*t drivers here who can't drive in the snow, which has always amazed me.

Per 100,000. Standardised. It probably underestimates Canada due to Britain's much busier road network. Climate probably has little to do with it. The worst rates are in Africa, the best in Norway and Sweden.

Canada has Albertans, and Moose, both of which increase RTA fatalities. But, yes, Norway and Sweden are compelling cases for good regulation. British roads are definitely safer than most. Possibly because of speed cameras of which there should be more in residential areas.
