Also, I'm pretty sure "Cloudbreak, California" isn't a real place. I'm struggling to find any evidence of it. There's a Cloudbreak surf spot in Fiji, and some wines named cloudbreak, but that seems to be it.

That's a new quackery I've not come across, but yeah, she died mostly of stupidity

Certainly seems more violent than pillow therapy.

“ Ms Carr-Gomm, from Lewes in East Sussex, attended the slapping therapy workshop at the country hotel to help her diabetes, her family said.”
I really did not want to laugh at this but….

Maybe she gets a slap every time she eats a cake? Aversion therapy.

Ah yes, Peter Cook and Dudley Moore's excellent Aversion Therapy sketch.
Strawberry yoghurt (pleasure) vs. Being hit round the head with a cricket bat (pain).
Classic British comedy.

Maybe she gets a slap every time she eats a cake? Aversion therapy. I'm not sure you need a workshop for that. The slapper might need to train in how to give a good painful stinging slap, but I'm pretty sure the slappee doesn't.

That article seems very light? How big was the hole? How did he fall in? How was he “buried”?

Good point. I see that the cops are still interested in speaking to other party-goers. There's a suggestion of blokes, beer and reckless endangerment. Unsurprisingly, really.

And Australians. It's probably a weekly occurrence there.

Feeling of invincibility cos they convinced themselves they'll be right and their posts on Instagram will make em ever so brave and edgy.

“The Taliban government sells tickets to access the site of the Buddha statues.” Blowing up the status and then selling tickets to view the remains is really something…
