As a general rule I am remarkably relaxed about people killing themselves texting whilst driving and if they only killed themselves I wouldn't have an issue with it.

Well, there's dangerous and there's also inconsiderate. The number of dickheads that you see sitting in the middle lane, texting away without a care in the World, oblivious to road conditions around them.
You can tell a mile off what they're doing.

I read that here the main cause of fatal accidents are by people using their phone while driving, far and above deaths caused by impaired driving.

Haha! Self-medicating, indeed. I prescribed myself several pints of San Miguel and a bottle of Shiraz last night. I can't say I feel better for it though.

Yeah. I'm not sure why I bother drinking. We had visitors yesterday who had been on the piss the night before and who could probably have done with a night off. Not the done thing though, is it?
