I am definitely aware that some women do it too but it’s overwhelmingly a male thing to see women as little more than decorative objects who are supposed to look how men want them to. Rarely the other way round. |

Yes, I did make that point. No, I think we all judge people to an extent, based on how they look, how they dress, etc... It's difficult not to. Saw a bloke today with the most ridiculous tattoos over his face and neck. Heck, he might be a really intelligent and decent person, but that was not my thoughts. Probably makes me shallow, but not sexist. Agree with Baloo and Voice too. Women are just as bitchy, if not more, about other women's looks. Also, having an opinion is just that. It's not telling someone how they should look, it's merely expressing that you think they look awful. You're probably never gonna meet them and they're almost certainly never gonna read what you said. |
