Out of interest why is this stuff almost always aimed at transwomen, rarely transmen?
“Trans-ideology forces women to qualify and clarify their status. If men can identify as women, then women must define as cis, natal, or born women. Women become a mere addition to a male norm.”
Erm...transmen exist...

There don't seem to be many of them, they don't seem very outspoken and the identity politics mob don't really talk about or support them. Presumably, the identity politics mob regard as fully men so that makes them of little interest. Probably even a bit "problematic".

They are smaller in number but yes they seem to get an easier pass than transwomen.
Why?
As why does this article pretend they don’t exist. The bit I quoted makes no sense given that transmen do exist.

I mean “trans-ideology” also forces men to clarify their status. Cis men vs. Transmen.
It’s weird to allege this is unique to cis women. Maybe it’s because TERFs are especially focused on transwomen and are fine with transmen? Which means those who support trans rights must spend more time defending transgender women.
Also probably because trans women seem to be at bigger risk of violence. You hear about men attacking women they are dating for revealing they are trans. Cannot recall hearing of women attacking their transmale partner for revealing he was born female.

Academic freedom is extinct in western universities. The left-wing academic freedom fighters of the 1960s have assured it's extinction. Universities are every bit as totalitarian as Stalins Russia. Most likely more so.

To be honest what you've written there is just confusing and mostly meaningless. It's just where it all encroaches into the lives of ordinary people that it starts to matter. Although the ridiculousness of the whole movement can be amusing sometimes.

Kennedy is a researcher at Goldsmiths, University of London, where she is also employed under the name Mark Hellen. Kennedy contributes to equality and diversity reports, while Hellen works in the department for educational studies. In 2010, Kennedy and Hellen co-authored an academic paper on the experiences of transgender children. This dual-academic identity raises many issues. If academics can legitimately claim to be two people, a man and a woman, can they get two salaries? Two offices? More importantly, the ethics of supporting an argument by citing your own work carried out under a different name are dodgy, to say the least.
Van - have you read this?
One person is posing as two people.
One person is employed as a Researcher - the same person is employed in another job under a different name.
The same person has co-authored an academic paper posing as two people.

Their tax position? If his/her joint salary takes them into a higher tax band, but they're paying tax as two individual lower-band employees, then the exchequer is losing out. And if they enjoy two lots of personal allowance ... ?
Sheesh - you'd think that someone hadn't thought this through or summat.
