Police have released CCTV footage of a missing 15-year-old girl who is believed to be with a man she met on the internet.
Laura Stainforth was last seen by her parents on Wednesday when she left home in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire.
Humberside Police believe she is with 49-year-old Robert Andrew Williams who is also known as Dave Ingram.
The footage shows Laura with a bald-headed man wearing dark clothing at Grimsby railway station.
Mr Williams was seen on CCTV footage with Laura Stainforth.
The teenager was positively identified in Dover on Thursday and police are now checking with ferry companies.
Her disappearance is said to be totally out of character.
Laura is described as white, of medium build, with dark brown, shoulder length hair which was tied in a ponytail.
She was last seen wearing a fawn and cream-coloured zip-up jacket and light blue jeans and black trainers.
Det Ch Insp Sharon Fielding, who is leading the investigation, said they were now "really, really concerned about her welfare".
"I am getting concerned for her, it's completely out of character.
"It's not something that she would normally do.
"She might have gone willingly with this man, she might now be in an uncomfortable position, and I would urge her to contact the police or another member of the public if she's free to do so."
Laura's disappearance is said to be totally out of character
Police had established Laura met a man who is not connected to the Cleethorpes area.
Mr Williams is known to have links to the North of England and Scotland.
His current address is not known at this stage.
"We're keeping an open mind and urge people to continue to look for her," said Det Ch Insp Fielding.
Family members have urged the youngster to get in touch.
They have stressed that she is not in any trouble, and that they just want her to return safe and well.
I hope this isn't another case of innocent young girl not getting on with her parents falling victim to paedophile from an internet chatroom. A bit worrying that the man in question has a pseudonym, surely if he had nothing to hide he wouldn't pretend to be someone else? Hope she is found soon.
